Where do the numbers come from?
From you. The calculator multiplies your calls a week by the share you miss, then by the share of missed callers you think would have booked, then by your average job. The booking share starts at a guess for your trade, and you can change it.
Why count a missed call as a lost job?
It only counts the share you say would have booked. Someone who reaches voicemail often calls the next business on the list instead, so a missed call from a ready customer is usually a job that went elsewhere.
